Elbow Beach, one of the UK’s most active specialist climate impact seed investors, is pleased to announce a strategic talent partnership with KNiON, an executive search and leadership consulting firm specialising in VC-backed technology companies.

KNiON will support Elbow Beach as a specialist recruitment advisor, working closely with its portfolio companies on senior leadership appointments at board and executive level. KNiON will help identify and place Non-Executive Chairs, C-suite executives and senior leaders across the fund’s portfolio, ensuring companies have access to the leadership capabilities needed to scale effectively. As part of the partnership, KNiON’s Founder & CEO, Ben Knight, will take on the role of Strategic Talent Advisor to Elbow Beach, acting as an independent advisor to the Company.

Beyond the advisory work, KNiON will also play an active role in Elbow Beach led round tables, webinars, seminars and podcasts that bring together investors and innovators across the green tech ecosystem. These conversations will help shape industry dialogue, with KNiON contributing insights on leadership, talent, and what it takes to scale high-growth businesses.

KNiON has already supported several senior appointments across the Elbow Beach portfolio. At Munro Vehicles, the Glasgow-based maker of the world's most capable all-electric 4x4, KNiON recently placed a Non-Executive Chair, CFO and Chief of Staff. These appointments come at an important stage in Munro’s journey, as the business continues to build the infrastructure required to scale and move into its next phase of growth. KNiON is also actively working with Ionech, the clean power pioneer backed by Elbow Beach earlier this year, supporting its ongoing growth and leadership development as it builds momentum within the portfolio.
